Consumers are thinking people as well that understand the concept of usually nothing is free. Knowing this, would it be immoral to the owners of Paradise if Rupert and Imagen make a larger issue of their practices by making the complaint more public which would harm the brand.
5. By having Paradise offering a promotion which results in a sale attempt they are trading value. Is the value of the trip equal to the pressuring of purchase from the intimidating sales people?

Options
1. Complain to Managing Director, Direct Marketing Association, Advertising Standards Authority, Organization for Time Shares in Europe or the Office of Fair Trading about not advertising correctly and intimidating sales tactics.
Result
As these organizations are regulated bodies, they would look into the situation and determine if it requires any more action. From browsing articles I have found that these situations have been brought up before and all of their practices have come up to be considered ethical. The only problems that time share companies become involved in is when the product is sold and there are quality problems. With this, the effect this will have on the major stakeholders will be determined by a far more educated body.
Ethical discussion
The advantage of complaining to a regulating body is that they will know more information then the complainers. If the promotion is such a bad deal, there is a good chance that it has been looked into before. If it hasn’t been looked into then these organizations will have more resources to research it. What this does is it takes away the malpractice of complaining without proper knowledge out Imagen and Rupert’s hands and places it into expert opinion.
2. Ignore the issue
Result
By ignoring the issue, nothing will change. People will continue to be taken advantage of by Giles with the possibility that many other sales offices will also continue to pressure the customers.
Ethical Arguments
The first argument on this decision is does Rupert and Imagen have the right to press this issue. In other words, is it a requirement for educated/ professional people who can see through sales tactics to inform the public of any sales techniques which do not involve telling a customer everything up front.
3. Complain to Gile's Boss or Managing executives
Result
This route would have a more direct effect on Gile than any of the other stakeholders. Within the organization they may very well like Gile’s tactics for selling as he may be effective. The other side of this is it may be one single outburst by Gile and the complaint could cost him his job. This doesn’t really solve the debate of aggressive selling in time share and is more a personal attack on a single employee.
Ethical Arguments
The man ethical argument with this action is that it may not solve anything and Rupert and Imagen know only superficial facts about the situation (Buchholz, 2002).
