Is Human Resource planning effective in improving employee performance?
Introduction:
Through history, man has witnessed several changes in society. These changes may be observed from a broad perspective as well as from a narrow one. From a broad perspective, one may assert that society as a whole has witnessed the way that the working class is dealt with. From a narrow perspective, one can experience handling of the working class through individual organizations. It must be asserted that these two angles have provided man with immense knowledge of the way that things were yesterday and the way they are today. It is through these two different angles that one may observe the manner in which Human Resource Planning has played an immense role. On one hand, the employees are witnessed through first-hand observation, and the way that they work is recorded. On the other hand, the satisfaction of the working class is observed through overall working conditions in society. It is through these two sides of the issue that one can notice how much change has been brought about in the lives of the working class men. Since it is said that a great many efforts have been put towards human resource planning, it is interesting to learn how effective this planning is. Through human resource planning theory and the experiences of all concerned, one may evaluate how employee performance has been enhanced. In view of this, one of the few things that come to mind first in human resource management is the environment within which any human being is placed. It is known that a human being can only perform well if an environment suits him well. From the very basics in human resource management, it is known that employees need to be satisfied in their working environments. In order to ensure that a working environment is satisfactory to an individual, there are different kinds of things that apply.
Description:
A human resource department is one that deals with the problems that the employees of an organization have. These may be problems directly or indirectly related to the organization. But they have to be problems that are affecting the organization in one way or another. It is the human resource that can also fight to help an employee who is need of some help. For example, an employee may be in need of urgent help in the form of finance or even leave. In this case the human resource department can claim this for him or her. The reason for them doing this is that the employee’s critical position is one that can directly affect his or her performance in duty or punctuality. Lawyers who are all well aware of the rights of employees advise human resource departments, so that every step is legally taken.
Working in a human resource department is not an easy task. This is because everything (problems and their solutions) pivots around this department.
